Directions Primus Vineyards is located midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe in Camino, California. Primus is less than 5 minutes from Highway 50 in the beautiful Apple Hill Community. From Sacramento, travel approximately 50 miles East on Highway 50 until you reach the Camino Exit. Turn right at the intersection onto Carson Road. In less than one mile turn left onto Larsen Drive. Primus is located 1000 yards to your right. From South Lake Tahoe, travel approximately 45 miles West on Highway 50 until you reach the Cedar Grove Exit. Turn right onto Carson Road. In less than one mile turn right onto Larsen Drive. Primus is located 1000 yards to your right. The Apple Hill Community is filled with over 50 orchards, wineries and Christmas tree farms.
